Since 2019, I have dedicated my passion to breeding beautiful, healthy, and high-quality bantam poultry with a strong focus on temperament, breed standards, and overall flock health.
The birds I breed
I specialize in Silkie chickens in a wide variety of colors:
Over the years, my birds have earned many awards and show winnings, and I take great pride in producing birds that are not only beautiful but healthy and well cared for. Every breeding decision I make is centered around improving quality while maintaining the traits that make this breed so special.
Poultry DNA testing
Beyond breeding, I also operate a poultry DNA testing lab offering affordable genetic testing services for breeders across the country. DNA tests are ordered through its own site, the Baileys Exotic Silkies DNA Lab. I currently offer:
- 🧬 Gender testing
- 🥚 Blue egg gene testing
- 🤍 Recessive white testing
In 2024, I had the incredible opportunity to be personally taught poultry DNA testing techniques by Ari from Chick Check. I'm extremely grateful for her willingness to share her knowledge and help other breeders grow within the poultry community.
One of my goals has always been to make DNA testing more affordable and accessible for everyone. By sourcing materials in bulk and keeping my lab streamlined and efficient, I'm able to offer reliable testing services at lower costs — while still maintaining quality and accuracy.
